On April 17th, 2018, members of the Association „The Business for Plovdiv“ attended a meeting of the Employer’s club – Stara Zagora – structure, similar to the Plovdiv one, carrying out activity since 2003.
Current business problems from the two regions were discussed at the joint meeting:
• labour force quality and training;
• measures to bring the economic migrants back to Bulgaria;
• sick leave issuing problems;
• public-private partnership with the municipalities.
They shared their experience in resolution of issues, as well as good practices on the organizational activities of the two associations.
The members of the Association from Plovdiv were impressed by the Panorama of the professional education, held for the sixth time in Stara Zagora. Their colleagues from the Employer’s club highly appreciated the work of the Plovdiv association related to the public procurement monitoring of the municipalities in the region.
The chairmen of the two organizations underlined the necessity of developing contacts in the future that would support the exchanging of ideas to improve the living conditions, business climate and economic development of the two regions.
