On July 20th, 2018, the Management Board of “Business for Plovdiv” sent to Plovdiv Municipality another proposal regarding the traffic in the city.
Relying on the opinions and conclusions of people with long experience in the field, our association believes that the current traffic light on Svoboda Blvd. and Vasil Aprilov Blvd is unnecessary and the construction of a circular crossroad at the same place is the better and more logical alternative.
The construction of this roundabout should be laid in the new “General Plan for organization of the traffic” and implemented in the preparation of the extension of Vasil Aprilov Blvd.
This proposal by “Business for Plovdiv” will bring positive results for the residents of Plovdiv and will be another step in the right direction with regards to solving the congestion problems on the city’s crossroads.
